WASHINGTON, D.C.
Matt and I have visited Washington D.C. a few times, and I still feel like we haven't seen even close to everything there is to see! The city is full of history! There are so many awesome museums, monuments, and statues you have to see. We are so excited to share some of our favorite museums, restaurants, bars, and things to do with you!

TOP DINNER SPOTS
-THE HAMILTON: This swanky restaurant is perfect for a date night out! Their food and drinks are excellent! Be sure to make a reservation in advance.
-OLD EBBITT GRILL: If you are looking for a more low key dinner or lunch spot this is the perfect spot! Old Ebbitt Grill is the oldest saloon in Washington. They have a little bit of everything, but they are known for their excellent seafood.
-FARMERS, FISHERS AND BAKERS: This unique farm-to-table restaurant is excellent for a group dinner! All their food is made from scratch and they have awesome cocktails.
TOP BARS
-POV BAR: This is probably the coolest bar in D.C! It is on the rooftop of the W Hotel and it overlooks the White House! You definitely need to go here for a happy hour cocktail or go at night for a late night drink! They have a fun DJ that plays at night.
-TRUMP HOTEL BAR: The Trump Hotel has a really neat bar you will want to check out for a cocktail and appetizer!
-MCCLELLAN'S RETREAT: This is a cozy bar full of history and craft cocktails!
TOP PLACES TO STAY
-W HOTEL: Our top pick of where to stay is the W Hotel! It's right across the street from the White House and has an awesome rooftop bar called, POV. It's also in the perfect location to walk to all the museums, monuments, restaurants and bars!
-KIMPTON CARLYLE HOTEL DUPONT CIRCLE: The Kimpton hotel in Dupont Circle is a very nice hotel and is in the perfect location to walk to restaurants and bars.
