WALES
Wales is a beautiful country in the United Kingdom. It is a country full of history, character, and culture. There is something gorgeous to see everywhere you look from fascinating castles, snow-capped mountains, spectacular waterfalls, stunning beaches, and breathtaking coastlines. We had the opportunity to travel to North Wales for a day when we were in Chester, England for our friend Katie and Bobby's wedding. We are so excited to share some of our favorite Wales places to go and things to see!

TOP TOUR
-NORTH WALES TOUR: The North Wales Tour is a full-day bus tour to North Wales. You stop along the way in Llandudno, which is a cute seaside town. Then you travel to Conwy to explore the Conwy castle and enjoy some fish and chips. Next, you travel to Snowdonia National Park, where you can hike around the gorgeous mountain, as well as see a few waterfalls. Finally, the last stop of the day is in Betws-Y-Coed, which is a popular inland town.
STOP #1: LLANDUDNO
-LLANDUDNO: The first place we stopped on the North Wales tour was Llandudno, which is a cute seaside town located on the Creuddyn peninsula. Llandudno is the largest seaside resort in Wales and is often known as the, "Queen of the Welsh Resorts." Below are the top things to do in Llandudno!

STOP #2: CONWY
-CONWY: Conwy is a beautiful seaside town in Wales known for it's enormous castles, Brittan's smallest house and fish and chips. Below are the top things you must do and see in Conwy!

Conwy Castle: Tour the ancient Conwy Castle and climb to the top of one of the towers to get a magical view of the town.

Brittan's Smallest House: Take a picture in front of the smallest house in Brittan.

Conwy Mountain: Hike the gorgeous Conwy Mountain.

Conwy Marina: Grab some fish and chips and sit at the marina to watch the sailboats sail by.

Fisherman's Chip Shop: You must try the fish and chips while you are in Wales!
STOP #3: SNOWDONIA NATIONAL PARK
-SNOWDONIA NATIONAL PARK: Snowdonia National Park is a stunning park with snow-capped mountains, beautiful waterfalls, and excellent hiking trails. It is also home to Wales highest mountain peak, Mount Snowdon.
STOP #4: BETWS-Y-COED
-BETWS-Y-COED: This is a charming village in the Snowdonia Forest Park. It is one of the most popular inland towns in Wales. They are known for their vast amount of outdoor activities and beautiful scenery. Below are some of the top things you must do and see!

Swallow Falls: Swallow Falls is one of the most beautiful places in Betws-y-coed, because it is where the river runs down the jagged mountains.

Dolwyddelan Castle: Tour the Dolwyddelan Castle, which is a stunning medieval castle.

Shopping: Go shopping in Betws-y-coed and get some great Welsh gifts to bring home.
