• PIANETA- Pianeta is a delicious Italian restaurant located in Truckee. It has a cozy, intimate atmosphere and excellent pasta dishes. Don't forget to make a reservation, because it books up fast!

• TRUCKEE TAVERN AND GRILL- The Truckee Tavern and Grill is a modern spot featuring classic American dishes. They have a hip bar, signature cocktails, and great outdoor balcony seating. Make a reservation!

• TRUCKEE RIVER WINERY- Truckee River Winery is a super cute local winery with delicious wines, cheese plates, a super friendly staff and a fun atmosphere. They also have an awesome outdoor patio with lots of yard games such as bocce ball and corn hole. It's the perfect spot to spend the whole afternoon with friends!

• UNCORKED - Uncorked is a hip wine bar in downtown Truckee with a variety of wines and great tasting options. You must try to the Rose!

• THE VILLAGE AT NORTHSTAR: The Village at Northstar has a variety of shops that is perfect for an afternoon of shopping!

• SPEND THE DAY AT THE BEACH:

  • SAND HARBOR BEACH- Sand Harbor Beach is a popular Lake Tahoe beach that is in Nevada and has crystal clear blue water surrounded by snow capped mountains! You literally feel like you are in a movie! It’s great for boating, paddle boarding, kayaking, and hanging out on the beach! Get there early because the beach packs up! They have a great grill on the beach you can eat at for lunch and grab drinks! They also have a place you can rent paddle boards and kayaks from.

  • KINGS BEACH- Kings Beach is a great downtown public beach that is free! It gets packed but the water is pristine! You can rent paddle boards and kayaks! Also since it is downtown, you are surrounded by shops and restaurants.  

• GO MOUNTAIN BIKING: There are numerous biking trails in North Lake Tahoe, so rent a bike for the day and hit the trails!

• GO HIKING: There are tons of hiking trails in North Lake Tahoe ranging from easy to expert level.

• GO GOLFING: Grab your clubs and hit up the luscious green golf courses of North Lake Tahoe. 

IN THE WINTER:

• SPEND THE DAY ON THE SLOPES: 

  • NORTHSTAR: ​Northstar is an absolutely gorgeous ski resort for every level of skier! They also have a beautiful village filled with hotels, shops and restaurants. You can also use your Epic Pass at Northstar.

  • SQUAW VALLEY:  Squaw Valley Ski Resort is a one of the largest ski resorts in the US and was host of the Olympics in 1960. 

  • HOMEWOOD: Homewood is a smaller ski resort with lodging and restaurants on site.
